It is the middle of the summer season.  It has been such a hot summer, yet I still find time to get out and walk daily.  The photo to the left is of a flock of geese crossing the lake that we walk across.  I wanted to share this for two reasons, one it's beautiful and two every photo on the internet costs money.  I understand that people like to get paid, but there was a time I could get quality photos with a few clicks.  Well what's been going on in your business world?   I have been building a few things as usual.  Many times I think I'm doing too much.  Often I think I'm not doing enough.  As soon as I think that one of my business partners decides that they want to be so active and push the business along for five minutes, and then I'm on my own again.  Have you had times of  discouragement in your business endeavors?  I'm sure we all have.  This past year I have fo...

 Great Evening High Achievers!!  There are 3 days left in this last quarter of 2023.  We made it, and we are going to be even greater in 2024.  This was a trying and a wonderful year for our business.  We have cried and laughed as we learned from trial and error how to get things done.  There are more lessons to learn and more opportunities to take advantage of.  I want to share with you a few things about getting your business out of the rat race and into the government contracting place.   Do you know what M.B.E.'s, W.B.E.'s, V.B.E.'s, D.B.E.'s, and A.C.D.B.E's are?  No this is not Sesame Street.  These letters stand for Minority Business Entity, Women Business Entity, Disadvantaged Business Entity, and Airport Concession Disadvantaged Business Entity.  This is how the government classifies different types of businesses for their sponsored programs.  The statistics for the amount of contracts awarded to these entities ar...

 Happy Sunday High Achievers.  Today I want to continue my research on our  friends in Japan.  I found this article about how wonderful and clean the streets in the city of Shimabara on the Japanese Kyushu Island are.  In the 1970's this beautiful system that has Koi fish and fresh water is their public drainage canal.   View the full article here.    Learning about other cultures can be fun and quite interesting.  It gives us a broader view of the world considering we can now do business across the globe with the use of your cell phone or a laptop. I was able to connect to Ari's business Instagram account rather easily.  As our world neighbors grow closer to us, we should investigate what we don't know about them and their lifestyles.
