Exposure is Everything

Exposure is everything in business. If you don't tell people what you do they will never know. Your fortune, however is in your follow up. As a business owner in 2011 what type of exposure are you getting? If you are not on the www (world wide web) you are losing thousands if not millions of potential customers, which for you as a business owner means MONEY!!
Let me define a business owner: a man, woman, or person engaged in a business. A business is a person, partnership,or corporation engaged in commerce, manufacturing or a service; profit seeking enterprise or concern.
Many people in our society fear the Internet, and the loss of their anonymity(being unknown),yet they are business owners. Believe me when I say,if you are alive in 2011,have a drivers license, have attended a school, ever applied for any type of loan , car, home, school, credit card, business, if you have a cell phone pre-paid or not, email or even have applied for a job, ecetera, ecetera you are known. When we are born we are given a number it is our identifier from birth to death. We have certificates of birth and death, I could go on about the amount of information about us that is available, but I won't. It is not the point of this post. I will say that I speak with many in our society who think they are hiding or have something to lose by providing information about themselves that is easily and readily accessible with a small amount of research.
The topic exposure as a business owner is everything takes on a whole new meaning in the 21st century. Our society now is the high tech information age. We want information, yesterday. Before I visit a business no matter what type I google it or yahoo it or bing it. To me they are almost irrelevant, non-existent, or not a legitimate business without an Internet presence.
Why not have maximum exposure when most of the www is free to use, it was created by scientist and is such a useful tool? The follow up is easy with the social media like twitter,Facebook, linkedin and many others, you can reach potential customers on their phones,iPods, and iPads instantly, and vice versa. We also satisfy many of our human needs with the social media like our need to belong, our need to share or get information and our desire to be heard or recognized all while promoting our business to the world.
DSWoodard consulting is a global business entity. We desire to assist those who find value in our service. We assist you in life 101 so that you may be the best you,and you have continued growth, learning, and success. As you have taken time to read this post you have grown and it cost you nothing it is free information you were seeking that I used a social media tool to get to you. Now you have a choice, a wise millionaire friend of mine from Washington,DC, Mr. Mike Humes says, "choice is doing that which is preferred." So make a choice today to get better and build the success you want for your business and your family, or remain the same and give me a flyer or business card that may get lost. Oh and google Mr. Humes his business is world wide too.
Much success to you

How to Press Through the Toughest Season

Welcome 2019 winter season. This image is what we must endure for the next part of our journey.  To be successful we can not have fear. We must learn some new things and use new strategies. We must start to keep track of where we are daily. This is a great task. I keep track of what happens in my life most days. The challenge is as you are living your life it's easy to get distracted.  I started 2019 on day one making note of daily financials incoming and outgoing, and goals and things that I had done or accomplished. It was only a few days in that I noticed that I missed a day here and then I missed a day there on keeping track. This month I'm promoting my   journal that has 366 quotes  and space for you to journal your thoughts and ideas. It will help. The link is alive, but you can get it at  DSWoodard365amazon . Focusing daily on what we are actually accomplishing and those things that are getting left undone will help us grow. Watch this...

Be Happy Today Because You Can

Good afternoon,  The joy felt today is enormous. I love how things keep appearing to show you where you are in the universe or how aligned you are with your goals, ideas, or purpose. Learning to read between the lines is such a gift. I read very well, and I speak many languages. Happy is my all- time favorite song. I love Pharrell's Curtis Mayfield smooth sounding voice and his infectious simplistic drum beat and top that off with the fun joy-filled music video and this is me and the way I feel about life.  I love this song and the video is perfect. Thank you, Pharrell.  I said this because this is the way to get to what it is that is wanted in your life. You must feel this way genuinely. It takes time and it takes practice. Life gives us exactly what we are, not what we want.  "Waste no more time arguing about what a good man should be. Be one." Marcus Aurelius It's mid- month of the beginning of the second quarter for 2019, how's your game pla...

Count down to 2015

Good morning. We had a wonderful vacation in the Poconos Mountains over the Thanksgiving week spending time with family out on the slopes.  We trust that everyone is well and not allowing the holiday season to stress you out too much.  We say that because we tend to wait until the last minute and purchase gifts.  The holiday comes every year at the same time and on the same day, yet the meaning of it is lost and does not make us want to run out and spend thousands of dollars on things that people often don't want or need.  Good luck for all of you.   This post is about focus.  Big surprise, we want you to maintain the same focus that you have had since January 2014 began.   It takes major discipline to do this at this time of the year.  It is necessary because it is easy to stop doing the things that made you successful and prosperous up to this point.   It is also easy to get lazy when it is holiday season and most people focus on...
